Mine would be going back to my granny's house at Chengkau..I bet you never heard of it..It's just a small, cozy town..For holiday is fine..I still prefer concrete jungle with my booze...^^ Actually sometimes I feel like it has no meaning to go back to that house ever since my beloved great granny had left me..Hmmm....her room is already full of stocks/rubbish now..Kinda sad, she used to be there sewing clothes, knitting....): Really miss her..if I would turn back the clock......

Last night was just a bleesed night..No bigbig feast..Just a simple, lovely reunion~ After the KHOO gathering, we went to watch cny movie lo..Though the number of people became lesser, some married, some need to take care of baby..still an enjoyable moment for me..(:

After the jamboree Latin Night last weekend, here came another happening event - Maybank 50th Anniversary Golden Nite Annual Dinner Region Selangor/Negeri Sembilan~!!
Was assigned to become one of the committee..Though bit unwillingful, felt honoured also la to get to approach with those VVIPs and walked on red carpet like a star! LOL
Overall the night was quite entertaining with the fabulous performances by KRU production crew, esp the Lady Gaga dirty dance! ^^

I would definitely say yes man! Cause got so many paid holiday~ Wakaka...Seriously, nothing really bad to be a Malaysian what..I really don't know why people all wanna be other's immigrant..

This week is quite a relaxing one..No traffic at all, can sleep till 8am, boss still on leave, lunch party in the office, no heels at work..Lalala~ ^^ How I wish dayday also like this..But boss is coming back next week le..Huhu..This Saturday also being invited to her open house party..Any idea what gift to bring? Haha my colleague said get her bigbig present then bonus also bigbig..Lolz..

An yeong everyone! Sorry har had been busy all these while..Ooo..Time flies and I have already started working for a month..Working life isn't that easy for me..Easily get tired, metabolism rate running slow, wearing heels up and down whole day, being 'ah sei' for the seniors etc..And, one thing I wanna mention is that I quite often having lunch alone..Fyi, I am the only non-Malay in the office and coincidently I joined during the fasting month..Haihhh~ But apart from that, I got lots benefits and ramadhan gifts also..Haha..Not bad lar..As consolation..Kaka..
Being the youngest one in the office is an advantage as well..Quite easily I can mingle with the rest and they are all helpful too! The only problem I'm having is I still need a longlong way to master the skills to build relationship with the customers and same with my product knowledge..

Apart from my work, erm...Recently ar just joined the True Fitness bollywood dance class..It's really an exciting lesson to attend! Something new to me and I do enjoy it! Shake shake and just shake shake! ^^ And these days also busy to get prepared for my Europe trip lor..Bought jacket, boots, sweater ..Really can't wait for it already!! Counting down day by day..Haha..But very shyt nia the Rome itinery haven't done..Must complete by this week..This week cuti Raya again..So good to be a Malaysian..you can enjoy all kind of festive holidays and even Someone's birthday..^^ Mommy is going to Bali and I am planning to go Ipoh main again (in fact I just visited Ipoh last two weeks..Hehe) Craving for Taufufa, salted chicken, fried banana, chee cheong fun~~ Yumyum!

So, I think you prolly can guess what's my state of emotion right now? (:

The second week of training just ended in a click of time..Gettin' sadder as we're starting the job and be apart soon..On the other hand, we feel excited for next week training graduation performance and also the 3D2N team building in Malacca..I bet it's gonna be really really HIGH!

Joanne, Diae and me are performing the Wakawaka dance for the graduation night..Hope it will be climax of the night eh? HAHA..and pray that our managers won't pengsan after seeing the show..Hehe

Yay! My convocation is on next Wednesday! Skipping classes in these 3 years meant a lot to me! And I definitely wouldn't forget what I've earned during the period, my best mate, a bunch of pretty blockmates, money-burning kaki and photoshooting kaki~

Oh my oh my gosh~ ^^ How should I descibe my week??
Hahaha..Erm, share you on my training part first okay..For the past few days, my training was superb and never end with dullness..All the cikgu-cikgu were humorous one..And the most interesting one was the grooming class..Cat-walk, make up, hairdo, psycology of colors..Marvelous! And not to forget bout my colleagues, they are all grogeous looking with fantastic characteristics! I really love my class! I swear I'll be 'eye wet wet' on the last day..q:

Bout my academy centre here ma, I told you its more like a low class hotel right? You can see some photos below..And I found out there are many facilities here..Free laundry services, house-keeping twice, sauna, gym, medium stadium, swimming pool, you name it, really all kind of sports is available..And there's another bonus point which is we have 5 meals per day!! Buffet style and the taste is way more better than many hotels as you can see our table always and always full with food!! ^^ Sometimes after meal we got to take a a short nap too! Wahh, how nice I still can practise these even when I start working..Haha..

I was late to report myself..Raining+roadblind..Haha thanks to my FOC Human Papago..Quite satisfied for my twin room with shared balcony with the other two rooms..All are okay except for the old wardobe and main door 'yit yit nyet nyet' sound..Like a low class hotel..I have a roomie for 2 days right now..Hopefully no one come in occupy after that..
So tomorrow training session starts with breakfast with those VIPs and photo session..Gotta sleep early then..(: Will upload some photos soon..Connection here is bit slow..Be patient~

It's all bout Seremban!

Was tired these few days..What was I busying? *teehee* q:
Well, remember I said I want some activities in the last weekend? Friday there was a pet-shooting session at Lake Garden Seremban..It's my best mate's doggie named Jackson..A hyperactive one..I hardly captured its perfect moment, harder than to 'cik cak' my babies at home..^^

Had a Seremban-PeeDee short tour for my special guest-Anna, last weekend as well..Been the tenant of her crib for so long so it's time to repay a lil ^^ I'd been headache over the itineries since Thursday night before I invited her over..You know la, Seremaban isn't really a tourist spot..The only specialty I can think of is Seremban barbequed crab lor..And also beef noodles, hakka mee, yeepoh and FULLSTOP..Haha..I know it's a boring village but like it or not, it's still a little but cozy place that I will chill out for another few decades..Okayy, back to the tour..Brought her to eat the barbecued crab on the Saturday night..Then went to Keningston for some drinks..Sunday morning for sure it's dimsum time since she didn't wanna eat Yeepoh..Watched "Knight and Day" at MBO then..Next, went to Port Dickson for an evening scroll..And we called it a day! Yay! (: I did enjoy the trip very bery much..Are you, Anna? Hope to bring the Joeys' and my dearie ex-roomie here again some day for a makan trip! (:

Glee! Happy! Joyful! Cheerful! Merry! What else I can use to describe my feeling? ^^

Though today aint feeling well cause of gastric, I enjoyed the day to the max!

This morning was a lucky one I could say..Because we woke up late, we skipped an accident..Hallelujah! This year really loads fun with more friends along..Met Ethan half way, and what a coincidence bumped into Eleen there as well..Charming smile she has as always..(: We all participated in the 10km run..The route wasn't same like previous year..I think it's better cause got more building to see so people won't get bored while running..But very smelly cause we passed by many Indian hawker street ( no offense to Indians ya)

I took 1 hour and 53 minutes to finish the run..Alex is the fastest, completed in 1 hour..And claps for Anna, Ethan, Hor Mei, Bobo, Kian Ming, Jyejye and Eddie..We all got our finisher medal~ My first marathon medal! Must shadow-frame it weh..^^

Now,what..Hmm..I'd turned down some offers and lastly I've picked the current best offer to work in Maybank..With lots of unwillingness, I still made this my choice..Hmm...just have a try first la..Must turn all the negative into +++++! I know I'm very picky la..complain this and that la..But do you know to get employed in Bank is really fucking lots of procedures??! Five stages of assessment interview I'd been through :- Stage 1-3 : ( I mentioned in the previous post before)
Stage 4 : Interview with the Bank's HR
Stage 5 : IQ Test (all picture questions! crackin my head! )
Anyhow, I felt happier with the revised salary and annual leave increment next year March! Wahaha..Kaching kaching! q:

I will be working in Shah Alam Private Banking Centre in mid of August after a 3-week-training (product training+team building+sports+grooming session) in Maybank Academy Centre, Bangi..This is another thing I keep on complaining about..Cause I ain't allow to go home during the training!! Though they said it's like a hotel and got many entertainments there, still I feel reluctant..): That reminds me of UM Orientation Week..The daily activities start at 6am! @@ Mamma mia! Hmmm...Okay la..Be positive thinking a bit..I'm sure I will make a big bunch of buddies, lose some weight maybe, become more professional?, gain knowledge..Luckily still got wifi there, else get me a coffin lolz..

Remember I posted a shoutout in FB that I wanna throw SOMEONE from 8th floor? Haha...The SOMEONE now very moody, ignore me already..She had been taken to be neutered last week..Luckily her wound is fully-recovered..I miss the days she manja me.......

Yay! Tommorow is the KL-Marathon again! How time flies~ Recalling last year semester break was a bliss! Haha today really have to sleep early..Don't wanna be like last year..After clubbing 4am reached home, bathed, napped for 1 hour then went to run! I felt so 'honourable' to have such energy to finish the run..Haha..But this year no play play already la..Older and somemore lack of work out-s..This year no longer run alone lor..Few friends joining together..(: Wait for my photo updates ya..Let's see there is any Ironman this year ( last year I met Spiderman lolz )

Hi folks!
What keep you busy all these while?
These two weeks were just interviews interviews and interviews..And I guess the next week will be the same..Sigh..Gettin' sick! I just asked my mommy if she can offer me high pay then I am willing to stay at home babysittin lolz..
Out of the city stress, I had a getaway to Ipoh last weekend..Though it may not turn out to be a really enjoyable one, still I ate, slept, drank alot..Thanks again to Anna, Vincent, Chow Han, Ayden and auntie uncle..(: There was a BBQ party at Anna's place..Quite fun geh if minus the argue part..Haha..Uncle Sia's guitar and singing still vividly in my mind..Climax of the night! Lolz..Apart from that, we brought Chow Han, who paid his first time visit to Ipoh, to eat the local food and to some famous 'holes'..^^ Hope he enjoyed it..

Tell ya what, I miss Ipoh again! Was planned to follow my sister to Ipoh for 2D1N..But since Wing was coming to Seremban today so I just guaiguai stayed at Seremban lo..YeePoh Lou Shu Fen is closed today, so just brought her to eat Seremban Laksa and then went to chop chop hair..I cut my fringe..Cacat-ed! Sien...

You know why I butt itchy go chop my fringe?! It's all because of the asseessment interview for Maybank yesterday! Oh my! 2 hours plus for that interview..Three stages :-
Stage 1 : 10 people being called up to a room. And each person randomly pick a folded paper with a topic inside. And then you are given 1 minute to talk on the topic. It's like public speaking. It reminded me about my high school senior - Lucinda Peng. She can really speak fluently at the assembly hall. She was my idol! ^^ Leanne, do you remember her?
Stage 2: You are given 5 quotes from some famous people like Albert Einstein, Mark Twain etc. Pick one and write an essay to share your opinion on it. 20 mintues. =.="
Stage 3: So here came the interview part..Actually it's a recruitment company, a partner of Maybank who was interviewing me..The interviewer gave me SOME advices, such as to cut your fringe, dye your hair back to a normal colour, your heels must same colour with your bag, wear your blazer etc..I was like, "wow"..Didn't know I have to prepare that much..
Anyhow, I got called to enter the final interview this morning, which will be conducted by the Maybank HQ Panel next week..I'm still thinking whether will it be a waste of time attending it..

So Father's Day is approachin'! What ya prepare for your old man? I'm really short of idea..I just hope my dad gets well soon..He's been sick for three days..Hmm...

Hey hey!
Just came back from Beijing for the 8N7D trip..Grew fatter and tanned..Overall, I give a rating of 6/10 for the trip..It was not my dream city but since got people sponsor air ticket so why say no? ^^ Once again thanks to Bro Joe..Love him so much!! (: And thanks for getting us a new DSLR..

Beijing, being the capital of China, I personally think that Shanghai is a more suitable one..Since the first day I was here, everyday I was eating dust! Holy! Beijing is really a dust city! Cars, bikes, buildings, papers all layered by few mm of dust particles..You will know I ain't bluffing till you see it..

Our package was the cheapest among the others..only at MYR1988..Quite worth it..3 meals included, tickets for all the destinations, transportation fees etc..China people really know how to earn big buck huh..Every destination also needs to buy ticket which roughly a hundred plus..I think the most expensive is the Forbidden City RMB160..Imagine one morning there is 30,000 counts..

I got to eat the famous Peking Duck at the first night..Yummy! But I think the one I ate in Cheras also not bad! kaka..Note: If you happen to visit Beijing, try the Quan Ju De Peking Duck..must reserve earlier to avoid long queue..RMB198 per duck..

Go for this restaurant..There are a few branches..The one I took is at Qian Men Walking Street

Let's talk some bout the China folks..As we all know China citizen can only born one child..But do you know that Manchuria can have two? They have special priviledges in the country. Even the passing mark of the university exam for them is lower than the Han people..Estimated 1000+ of Manchuria left in the city..So the government encourages them to born more..But Manchuria can only marry with Manchuria..Kinda hard for them to find partner eh..

What I did most along the trip was adjusting the shuttle speed..It's a new challenge for me to re-master the DSLR after all these years..Did I tell you I was the Photography Club President in high school before? Aha! And the second most is jumpin' jumpin' !! Me and Addie jumped everywhere we went..I mean we took some jumpin' shots la..Sometimes even with bare foot! It's summer there..You can imagine how hawtttttttt the ground is..Mad women~

Thanks my friends who like my photo album in facebook..I like it too! Quite satisfied with those portraits I took though there is still room for improvement..Addie said I kinda weak in taking scenic pictures..Any advice?

Let me randonly pick out some points like the must-do in Beijing :
- Try the Quan Ju De Peking Duck as I stated above
- Take the transit and observe the locals' living..Whenever you go also cost you RMB2..But one thing very troublesome is you need to scan your belongings whenever you take the transit..

Got cartoon to watch in the transit ^^

- If you love reading, must visit WangFuJin 5-storey-bookstore..Books are real cheap but they don't offer plastic bags for the books you purchase..They will wrap with ropes like those people wrap the herbs..So bring your recycle bag..
- Jump on the Great Wall! And one thing: if you don't like the bamboo 'cert' which they offer you to buy before you go up, you can find a cheaper,nicer sculpture at the Greatwall Souvenir Shop up there..

- Watch the spectacular Chinese dramatic art - Face-Changing
- Temple of Heaven Park is also a must-visit..I found it a cheerful place with music, dance, laughters!

- Temperature there fluctuates a lot in the summer time..It might be very chilly at night..Make some preparation..
- Don't simply consume any at the foodstreet oo..

- Guys! There's viagra selling at their airport! Got different varieties tim..XD
- Don't buy or bring expensive lighter like Dunhill etc cause you can't bring it on plane at the China immigration..But don't worry there is lighter provided if you crave to smoke at the airport..
- And their immigration only allow all kind of batteries to be hand-carried..Remind this ya..

Worked for part time last weekend..Selling Vono mushroom soup..It was killin' me man! Stood for 12 hours a day..Sobsob..Somemore had to eat alone..Sounds so pity right? Haha..Just wanna ask for some sympathy..^^ But I tell ya I really hate to eat alone, I'll cry..Lolz...

Went shopping right after the day finish working..Hehe...Legs almost patah still went shopping..That's women strength! ^^ Just bought a formal skirt, hair clip, neon nail polish..So lil..I was planning to get myself black flats, white canvas shoes, shorts, jeans, shirts, blouse, scarf, gel eyeliner, hairband lalalala..(No money still want buy so many things..Kaka..)..Lunch at ManhanttanFishMarket lo..full like hell.. =.= Next time don't greedy order so much already..And Khai Li, please don't so easily let me 'close sales' again lol..^^

National Park, Pahang

Went to National Park for 3D2N..It's a truly amazing place though both legs were soaked into shyt water on the first day..^^

Day One ::
Pushed off at 9.30am..Whole car was full of zombies as all of us just finished our final paper the previous day..We really didn't get much rest before the trip..Met three new friends (our guide, Xin Yan, Simon and Mandy)..And jokes accompanied us all the way..Haha..
We reached at bout 12pm something..After check in, we took our lunch at the floating restaurant..It's really floating..You might get dizzy dining on it..There served just some normal malay-western food but quite tasty also, prolly they put lots of ajinomoto..Kaka..

Then we moved for our first expedition to Gua Telinga (The place I stepped into shyt water..ewwwwwww..) The cave is named Gua Telinga because its shape is just like an ear..From broad to shallow hole..Luckily I didn't stuck at the hole..Keke..Every step I took was a cautious one as Xin Yan told us there will be bats, frogs and SNAKES!! Scary nia..We all got so stinky after the cave exploration..And tell you what, I bathed twice! Till now I still can tell the feeling of shyt water!! T.T

Day one was ended with creepy ghost talk at Mandy's room..So regret to go to her room..I ended up sharing bed with my dearest Xiao Fei (Khai Li)..Hehehe..

Day Two ::
Oh fyi, every place we go we need a water taxi (boat) as the national park is across the Sungai Pahang..Our hostel is with the mainland..If you wanna avoid the inconvenience you need to pay more to stay in the National Park lor..Anyway, the boat ride is just cost you a buck and few minutes only..(:

So our day started with the canopy walkway..Wawawa..Here came my height phobia attack! The trees all tall tall one..I only can concentrate looking at Khai Li's butt..Haha..
After the challenge, we proceeded with the hiking to Bukit Teresek..It took about 45 minutes..A long long path~ Too bad it was too cloudy..We couldn't get to see the Gunung Tahan (the highest mountain in Penisula Malaysia)..

Woohoo~~Here's the most exciting part - rapid shooting! Actually it was just water-splashing on the boat lar..Quite fun lor..Eh surprisingly the river water isn't smelly, don't judge by its kopi-o colour ya..^^ Then we went to watched a video at Nusa Camp..I prolly got sick there cause it's air-conditioned..And next, it's river swimming at Lubuk Simpon..One beautiful scene I wanna share..You can see butterlies everywhere here! It's just like butterfly sea~ Very very stunning!

AHAHAHAHA

Dinner and then back to hostel..Shall we call it a day? NOT YET, of course! We took out the extra bed bedsheet and comforter and started our lil camping at an open space..No barbeque, just maggi hot cup~ ^^ And what's funny was, me and Khai Li got frightened by something approaching..We thought it was snake or what..It was just a plastic bag..Aha! Stupiak..Actually it was very scary to stay outside as there was lightning and very dark..But I did enjoy the star-gazing..The night ended with some midnight gossips~ q:

Day Three ::
So it's time to say byebye..After check out, we went to a place called Lanchang..We visited the Elephant Conservation Centre..Zero-distant with the giants..We got to experienced the elephant ride without carriage above..Its fur like needle..Very painful to sit on it lor..We got the chance to bathe them at the river at first but due to long queue we moved to the next destination - Deerland..Dear deer~~~I love this place!!!!!!! We got to feed them..Precious experience..(: Those deer very naughty one..They kept pushing my censored part asking for more potatos..Kaka...And they even stepped on my foot..Ouchie~ I can tell you they are really heavy! And then you know what I saw next?? A sunbear!! A dummy one..Kaka...Sucking honey like Winnie the Pooh..Cute!

Currently I'm back to Seremban..The trip home is always fascinatin'~ Finally got to eat at the new KFC drivethru in old town..But it turns out to be disappointing one! Zinger burger order for almost 35minutes! How poor the services are! And I don't know fortunately or unfortunately, met an old bestie's mommy there..Alot of stories to tell..Her tears put me in dilemma..Everything is still vividly in my mind..And lots of "What can I do, for her, and for my friend? Went to travel agency then..No parking, so just camwhore with my niece Kai Ni and started day-dreaming in car..^^

Pleasant workers, friendly service, nice ambience, and got many foreigners to 'kap'..Lolz..

Last weekend was a calmful one..(:

Told ya right I went to Genting, with Anna, Vincent and Cheryl..My first time earning a $100 chip after sitting in the casino for almost 6 hours..Kaka..What's sad is it was freakin' hot up there! Global warming is really killin' me! Hotcha hotcha!

Saturday, I went to the Jobsteet career fair at Mid Valley..mountains of people out there..Sweat and sweat again..brought few copies of cv with me..Just simply dropped in to HSBC, American Express, Bernama TV and Genting Berhad..Oh, talking bout the Bernama TV..I did go for their new presenter audition after passing by their booth twice..Didn't know where I got the courage at last..My precious first time facing the video and there was a flat screen 'live on air'..People might criticize on you, bout your clothing, your zits, your speech blablabla..That's what I heard when I was in the crowd lor..And that made me hesitated to try at first..But don't care la..Never try never know..The scipt they gave was in Mandarin..Big O! My mandarin very cacat.....So shyt..!! But thanks to those candidates there to 'ga yau' for me..I like this feeling, though they're just strangers, they made my day..(:

Sunday, wakie at 830am..Oh I knew my day was gonna be very long~ Nothing special..After revising, I took out a big gabbage bag and started throwing stuffs while listening to the music and had some moves *wink*

Went jogging at the city park then..There is a question I was actually wanna post in facebook shoutout.."why malay suka pakai cantik-cantik,wangi-wangi and pigi taman har? " They really think that the park is shopping complex huh..Block the joggers' path..Haihz.........

So this is the second week since sem-reopen..The past few days were sweet..Quality time spent with a loved one, or maybe two..(: I guess I'm having diabetes now..lol..
Talking bout the campus life, starting to enjoy it..but it seems something is not right or I shall say someone is not around? My manufac and law seniors!!!! Really really miss them..Can't wait for the convo and convo dinner~
This semester is gonna be a lil pack though I only registered for 20 credit hours, I'm actually attending for 29 credit hours..and maybe more if my advanced German language class is on..Tiring but happy, so far.. (: I'm learning Korean language and pottery now..Both are fun! Made some friends..It's always good to know someone new~
This week I pray will be a gorgeous one..people who wanna mess up with me please go away!

So the happening month of June had just passed..Shall I mourn over it..?? Haha...Its indeed a really fantastic, awesome 57 days of holiday~ Made some new friends, even stronger friendship with the old pals, been to a number of places though not oversea this break ( btw, does Sabah consider as oversea? haha), parties, gatherings, jokes and laughters, unstoppable and irresistable~!!

I can't tell you how much I'll miss this holiday but I'm going to say the rest of my final year would be a great one! Thinking bout the working life after graduate gives me migraine as many of my friends are facing now..Taking mc every month? haha..

These few days were actually moody..
Moody 1 - I have something unprepared, for the school of course..Lost my schedule..Can't log on to my uni registraion website yet!

Moody 2 - I did something I shouldn't..I promised and promise that I'll never did it again!

Moody 3 - The desire for getting romance is stronger..Not a good thing!
Moody 4 - Baby Karen is getting naughtier! Her crying makes us hot-tempered!

My calendar notes in my cell are kind of full this month..Busy attending for weddings, beer-ing, clubbing, shopping, sightseeing, travelling, 'nose-running', makeup skill improving, studying, babysitting, 'people-missing' etc..I have bad time management! lol..

Well, talking bout wedding dinner...
Advantages:
- Can get closer among the family members
- Can eat alot
- Can drink alot
- Angpaos~
- Photoshooting as album memories
- Able to know some newbies around
- Might have crush lol
- Happy to get dressed up
- I love the tradition part - playing the bridegroom!

Disadvantages:
- The fattening 10 course-meal
- Relatives keep asking when you wanna get married
- Kaki patah wearing 3 inch heels walking up and down ushering
- Get scolded if there are some lousy friends/relatives of the newly wedded (for usherer only)
- Ears get suffered from the auntie uncle singing karaoke- self indulgence!
- Restless!

My first quota for being bridemaid had been used up lo..Left two..I must reserve one for Addie..another one ar..depends lar..( Leanne, if you wanna book me now also can gah! hehe)

Kanching Rainforest Waterfall

(This is an incomplete old post before the Gathering aka Camwhoring post.)

It's time to back to mother nature again! The same old kakis and a new member- Shan Chern~ Welcome welcome!

My turn to drive since Wymen wasn't feeling well..It was a bad start! Raining!! But thank God! He heard our prayers~~ Unfortunately, again, my car was running out of petrol when we almost reached Rawang! I made a turning back to search for pump station..Haih..Learnt a lesson- estimate right!

Kanching is a great place for hiking+waterfall lovers..According to Wymen, Kanching has seven waterfalls..We halted after the second waterfalls..The paths further up weren't easy to proceed and we had no guide as there were separated paths..

A bleeding case happened then! PK on the slippery rocks..Another new scar member on my left knee! >.<

We were back to the first waterfall with a swimmable pool..Saw some Lebanon folks there..They were like Olympic diving athletes lol..Giggling while curi tengok-ing at their different style of diving poses! Haha...

Aha..This time we were well-prepared for water-playing!!!!! Extra clothes, slippers and towels! Lalala~

Getting there: (info from Nature-Escape)
Follow the road to Kepong and Rawang (E1) for about 20 to 30 minutes
Look for brown signs pointing the way to Hutan Lipur Sungai Kanching.
See signs for Templers Park and just after the protruding limestock rock on the right.
Kanching Park is also on the right but you need to make a U-turn another 1-2 km further down.
Go straight until you pass by a Petronas station on the left and stop at the next traffic light in the right lane.
A KFC outlet will be on your right.
Make the U-turn and go back on the same road until you see the entry sign for Kanching on the left.
It's a quick descent to the entrance parking lot, so be aware.

Bibimbap for dinner last night (bibimbap=sizzling stone pot rice mixed with veggies and meat in Korean)..No labor-intensive steps invovled..

Ingredients (serves 4-6) :

2 medium cucumbers
2 medium carrots
2 onions

2 yam beans

2 eggs

fried sesame

cobbage (sliced, suitable amount)

oyster mushroom

enoki mushroom

300 g minched pork

cooked rice

hot pepper paste vinegar flavor sauce

Steps:

1. Put in the cooked rice (remember to put some salt in the rice-cooking session) into the ceramic pot (stone pot recommended).

2. Then slice all the veggies and put upon the rice.

3. Same step goes to the mushrooms and don't forget about the fried sesame.

4. Stir fry the minched pork. Make sure it's 100% cooked. And then put into the pot too.

5. Heat the pot for approximately 2 mintues.

6. Add 2 eggs upon the ingredients.

7. Stir all the ingredients thoroughly with addition of suitable amount of hot pepper paste vinegar flavor sauce.

8. Serve your meal.

Note: If you can't get the sauce over-the-counter, try to google the recipe for it~

Half-day trip to Manutik Island today!!

No breakfast today cause we were off the schedule..Reached Jesselton Jetty at about 10am..The sun was like in noon..Hardly open my 'bigbig' eyes..Enjoyed the breeze at the jetty restaurant..Wooden chairs and the classic lamp posts..No SLR, no lenses..An ordinary compact and sometimes just with my 2.0mp camera phone..I love to be a photographer, and still learning...

Seldom go to beach or island..I can't make comparison..For me, Manutik is great enough to find your inner peace with just 15 minutes speedboat ride from the Kinabalu city..Awe awe and awe! The sun, the emerald green sea and the sand! I couldn't describe the exaltedness inside..haha..We went snorkelling, fish-feeding..and we got fish attack too! Got bitten and frightened, but enjoyed to swim with them..some were timid,lovely..We had our picnic session - tuna and salmon sandwiches..Drank too much of sea water..The bread tasted like a tablespoon of salt sprinkled on it..haha..Continued snorkelling till 2pm..Bad sunburn (I have peeling and spots now..sad)..Price to pay..

It was our last night in Sabah..We grabbed the very last chance to lepak in town..I drove Cheok Hoong's car..Bit nervous cause it's a manual car..and Sabahans seem drive in a different way..Overtaking in both lanes..Had a drink at the Atmosphere Restaurant@ Bar at Yayasan Sabah..It's a renowned revolving restaurant..It got 2007 and 2008 Malaysia Tatler Best Restaurant Awards..Alcohols in Borneo are really cheap..Chop my head if you can get a housewine or Longisland at MYR11.50 in a four-star lounge like this in Kay-ell..

Delighting Sabah - Day 3

Had our breakfast at Kundasang town..many flies..makin me uncomfy..As soon, we drove to Poring Hot Spring. It's about 25km from Ranau (Kundasang) A wonderful place~ Remember to have these with you - sport shoes, trackbottom, swimsuits(optional). Entrance fee is RM3. Plenty spots in there: Butterfly Farm, Canopy Walkway, Kipungit Waterfall, Bat Cave and Langanan Waterfall. We thought that we could make it to the Langanan Waterfall (3715meter) which approx takes 90 minutes to reach. Hmm...another 'netx-time'. We just rest at the small small Kipungit Waterfall after the 'half-way climbing'. Guess what? There was free fish spa! Crazee laughter and the itchyness and the candids! Lovely additives to our trip~

Haha..After cleaning the deadcells ( thank you fishes), we were back to Kundasang for the Desa Dairy Farm! It was really worth it though the path was rough and hilly. In awe, never been to a heavenly greenland like this before! Eye the photos below! Don't ever miss this must-visit if you go to Kundasang~ and have a taste on their fresh moomoo milk ( two flavour - ori and choc)

4.30pm- started to drive back to Kinabalu. Wind blowed on the face. Watching our car moving the the moving cloud. Cool but bit danger to drive in this foggy weather. Seriously if Kelly wasn't rushing for her flight on the next day I would request for another night staying in Kundasang!! And also another K-session for 'Sayang Kinabalu'?

Reached Kinabalu at about 6.30pm..Oh great! Seafood for dinner, twice~ Salut Seafood Restaurant, erm...i give a rating of 3/5 ba..I prefer Gaya though lil more pricy..but Salut has nice view of the sea(or a huge lake..i can't differentiate) and the romantic sunset~ lol..I forgot to snap photos on our food, super hungry..

Next, supper at Damai - erm a place like Taman Mayang. Sabah speciality - teh madras (actually taste like teh tarik). And we ordered chicken wings and dried dumplings. Equally nice.

Heavenly Sabah - Day 2

Got back to my form six friends on the second day..not on my plan actually..but with no regret! After the breakfast and packing, we started our journey to Kundasang at 11pm..We rented two Kancil at a rate of Rm70 per day each..It was quite a long journey..80km from town, about two and a half hours drive..Bit tiring as the initial excitement had gone after the first hour..:P We dropped by at Pekan Kinabalu for lil shopping and booze restock..haha..3 carlsberg for RM11..It was really cheap! We should have bought more and sell it in Seremban lolz..

2pm - reached Kinabalu Pine Resort..I love this resort for the cottage staying and the landscapes! And the rate was reasonable as well..Rm240 for two queen size beds and a double decker..cheap cheap~ We left for Kinabalu Park after leaving our bags and steamboat stuffs..

We weren't prepared for the Kinabalu Park with sandals, shorts and handbags..Just swayed around, breathed in fresh air..Saw some leeches along the Bukit Burung Trail..Really scared got sucked..God bless that at the same time Yappie's flip-flop putus dah..A good reason to return back to our Kancils..Yay! Bye bye bloody sucker~ I will come again with full set of preparation yea~

Next station - Kundasang War Memorial..It was raining..Luckily they provided lots of umbrella..Really a lot lol..This Kundasang Memorial Garden was built and funded in the late 1950s by the people of Sabah and local expatriates, many of whom had served with the Allied force during the war. The terrace construction symbolises each of the main nations involved in the struggle: Britain, Australia and the Borneo. This site was selected as here, in the shadow of Mt Kinabalu, many of the prisoners of war was perished.

History ::

During the Second World War, Australian and British prisoners of war were imprisoned at Sandakan by the Japanese Army. The f irst prisoners arrived from Singapore to build amilitary airstrip in July 1942 and by mid 1943 over 1800 Australians and 750 British were at work.

Harsh living and working conditions existed. Japanese and Formosan Guards became increasingly hard and prisoners deaths increased through 1943 and 1944. The local people tried to help the defenceless prisioners, often defying the death threats of the Japanese. By 1945, the Japanese feared that the allies would invade East Borneo. Consequently 1066 surviving prisoners were moved, in a series of futile marchesm, 265km to the West. The 290 hospitalised prisoners left behind at Sandakan all died.

Over 1000 prisoners died on either the marches or at Ranau camp. Incredibly six of the starving and emaciated prisoners escaped to survive and reveal the story of this tragic episode of the war. Only these six came home from the 2500 prisoners at Sandakan.

Spent about 40 minutes there. We then proceeded to the Pasar Tani Gaya..bought some veggies for our steamboat..The steamboat session began at 7pm..It was heaven to serve hot soup on this chilly weather..woohoooo~ eat eat eat...talk talk talk..drink drink drink..tit tok tit tok..Oh God must be kiddin' me! The time was still 8pm after doing so many stuffs..We all lied on bed till 8.40pm..Really can't tahan already..With our cooling box carried by Yappie and the blankets and sleeping bags, we went to the look-out-point of the resort to have our booze session..Seven friends, though some I may not close with, still I enjoyed the moment being together..Thanks Cheok Hoong, Yun Yuan, Wooi Szen, Kelly, Pit Khee and Pamela!Time really passed darn slow here..Out of the hussle and bussle was not easy at times..We had karaoke session next in the resort bar..ahemm..We didn't expect they will have songs like Love Story or Crush..But not too bad they still have BSB, Ronan Keating etc..(:

Back to our lil cottage then..light off at 1am..

Halo Sabah - Day 1

Hohoho~7th May 2009! This is the day I'd waited since Chinese New Year!! Thanks to Yappie for inviting me to this wonderland and also the fetch~ And thanks to Malaysia Airlines for the MH services~ (: It was a morning flight..reached KLIA at around 7.10am..half-waking..yawn..had some light breakfast at the Asian Cafe..not worth to pay for..Eden dimsum will be in my choice for the next trip..

Enjoying throughout the two and a half hours flight gazing at the cotton cloud~ But the landing was kinda disappointing! Reached KKIA at 12.25pm..OMG! It was 33 degree celcius out there! Sweat sweat sweat...Got picked up by MuiWei's friends, Kuan and Hui Loo..After lunch, we headed to our first destination - the Monsopiad Cultural Village, Putatan..It is a Kadazan traditional village..about 5km from the Putatan town..We didn't go inside cause they charged us Rm40+ each for the entrance fees..It's pretty expensive for just a short tour..Of course you can have a try if you are on extra budget..

Next on was the Tanjung Aru beach..It was 3pm..Guess how wet our clothes can be?! A bit siao kia to walk along the beach under the big hot sun..lol..Tanjung Aru is famous with its ais-kacang as my local friend said..It is way different with the Penisula's..heaven food on a sunny day~

Back to Kuan's house after that..The first thing to do was to siram badan! Hot to the max! At bout 6pm, we were out to University of Sabah to pick a friend..Waawaawaa! UMS is like 3X bigger than UM! There has a stadium and mamak near the sea! I wish I could transfer my credits here..but they don't offer Statistics course here nia.. ): Meet up with Kuan's housemates at the New Gaya Seafood Restaurant at Inanam..about 30minutes rive from town..not bad not bad..especially the soft shell crabs..rating 3.5/5..

A weekend break after two papers..*deep breathing*
Found a new hang out place at TTDI Plaza..Nice lighting there but with high parking fees to pay-RM10 (roadside only)..Nearly got a SAMAN for U-turning at restricted area..First time I experienced the kindness of PDRM..The police just let us go by warning, with IC and driving license in hand..Hallelujah the 'duit kopi' saved! Parking fees for 10bucks? So what?! Lol..
Drinks with some forties..Cool, especially the barrister..Get mingled with the elders can always be fun and surprising as with the twenties too..Interesting that they have curfews sometimes..daughter callin'~

Crazy weather nowadays!! Hot! Hot! Hot! I thought it would be better after the drops on Monday..hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......

Love Prom - part i

Proudly presenting the Prom Night of Fifth Residential College, University of Malaya..(:

It was on last Sunday, at the Palace of Golden Horses, Mines. A so-called six-star hotel. One look at the dish, totally lost my appetite! Grand but still preferred Sunway Resort Hotel, not so malay style. I bind alvin's idea for organising it at Sheraton Hotel as it's along the asian heritage row- clubbers haven! haha..party after party~ the dinner was scheduled at 8pm but in the end, the platter was served at 9.45pm!!! Everyone was effing god damn hungry! Thanks to the Dr Rohana (the Principal) and those dato's! Not that we didn't want to respect the speecher but does SHE worth it?! I'm talking about the-everyone-dislike-Rohana. Sigh! I'm afraid that this might be the last annual dinner I attended due to the Rohanarised policies of staying college! Sorry..offensive i know..Haha..Apart from that, I enjoyed the night. Same like last year, we sit by couples. Still, Jie Zhong was my partner. Just back from the faculty for a test..thought that this will be the final test i have before the study week..two more tests to go, chingy! but allow me to have something happening 'round? aha..just read Leanne's blog..reminded me about the internship, MY internship! Ernst and Young-an auditing firm..actually not really wanna get into this firm..prefer some interesting volunteer jobs like Leanne does or some freelance crew..wearing suits e-ve-ry single day..nah! btw, resume not sent, yet~ :P

Such a long long time since my last blog..one might ask why back to be a blogger..hmm..no exact answer..just feel like wanna have some sharing with friends what i am busying around this lil kay-ell..really feel tired in the recent days..night out, especially..it was really fully utilised my energy bar..but fun! made a bunch of crazy,yet lovely friends from different universities..life-inspiring, that's what i could describe about them..
